In order to maintain integrity where FOCUS Ministries personal finances are concerned, we
maintain an annual audit through the independent accounting firm of Wilson, Rea, Beckel and
Associates, 56 Talisman Drive, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147.
Their mission is to obtain for the governing board of FOCUS Ministries reasonable assurance
that the consolidated financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement,
whether due to fraud, or error, and to verify the Form 990 that will be sent to the Internal
Revenue Service on an annual basis.
Wilson, Rea, Beckel and Associates exercise both professional judgment, as well as, a guarded
skepticism throughout their annual assessment of financial records. They undergo a thorough
examination, and express to the governing board any professional opinions and/or corrections
necessary at the end of each annual internal audit.
Wilson, Rea, Beckel and Associates communicate their findings in a relevant and timely
manner to either the FOCUS Board or to the Administrative Staff of FOCUS Ministries.
Please know that the FOCUS Ministries Board of Directors takes seriously any requests from
ministry partners who wish to look at our Balance Sheets and Generalized Profit and Loss
Statements for each quarter, as well as our annual report. These documents are available to
you upon your request, and according to the advisement of Wilson, Rea, Beckel and
Associates.
